Jerusalem, July 24, (Pal Telegraph) Israeli Minister, Ehud Barak, said to media outlets that the intention of sending a convoy of freedom from Lebanon to the Gaza Strip, “is nothing more than provocative and indispensable.” Barack held the Lebanese government responsible for preventing the convoy from going to Gaza, claiming that “Aid and goods can enter to the Gaza Strip through the port of Ashdod, where they are checked to make sure they do not include any means of combat,” he said. He emphasized that "Israel" will have to intercept the convoy, if they refuse to go to the port of Ashdod. The Israeli commissioner to the United Nations, Ghafriiila Shalev, sent a letter last night to the Secretary General of the International Organization and the President of the UN’s Security Council, emphasizing that "Israel" will not allow the ships to access to Gaza.
