Protest to condemn Israeli massacre of international peace activists

Richmond, VA

More than 75 people attended the protest, about 2/3 Arab Americans, with support from Black activists, local peace organizations and the anarchist community. The demands were: Israel: Immediately free all surviving members of the Gaza Freedom Flotilla and lift the criminal blockade of Gaza! United Nations: Indict the political and military leadership of the state of Israel for mass murder and violation of international law! U.S. Congress: Immediately end the annual $3 billion U.S. subsidy to Israel! Gov. Bob McDonnell: Dissolve the Virginia-Israel Advisory Board, the state's only agency formed to promote trade with a specific foreign country!
