Join the Global BDS Day of Action! On March 30, 2010 activists from around the world will mark Land Day with concerted actions in support of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel. The global day of action comes at a time when pro-Israel lobby groups and the Israeli government have vowed to sabotage the growing successes of the BDS movement. Activists are urged to organize media-oriented events focusing on BDS targets to raise awareness, educate and enlarge the support base.

On Jan 29, the Free Gaza Movement and the Turkish Relief Foundation (IHH), announced a joint venture, sending 10 boats in the spring of 2010 to the besieged Gaza strip. The Goldstone Report, investigations into alleged violations of international humanitarian law during the 2008-09 conflict in Gaza and Southern Israel, insists that all sides of the conflict be judged by a single international standard. The Report and process, therefore, could serve to build long-term sustainable peace in the region. We, through our governments and UN representatives, must press Israel and Palestine to conduct credible and thorough investigations, monitored by UN legal experts. If not, the UN Security Council should refer the situation to the International Criminal Court.
