This month marks the commemoration of the expulsions and flight of Palestinians from their towns and villages in the face of Jewish and later Israeli troop advances and their displacement from Palestine, and the loss of their property. “Al-Nakba”, meaning catastrophe, is commemorated on May 15th, the day after Israel's Independence.

This year a collection of people have come together to celebrate Palestinian resilience. Come join us for the event “Made In Palestine” on Friday, May 14th at 7 p.m. at the Quaker Meeting House. (1001 Park Ave.)
